Pistachio Easter Egg from Bronte: tradition and taste
The Pistachio Easter Egg from Bronte represents one of the most authentic expressions of Sicilian confectionery tradition. It is born from the meeting of local craftsmanship and DOP pistachio, known as the Green Gold of Bronte.
Thanks to the quality of the pistachio and the growing attention towards typical products, Bronte has become a sought-after destination for tourists and food lovers.
Promoting the territory, supporting local productions, and offering an authentic experience between culture and taste.

How to get there
Bronte is easily reachable from Catania, but during Easter traffic increases and parking fills up quickly. Having a car allows you to better manage your movements.
From Catania Fontanarossa Airport to Bronte
Pick up your car at the airport and follow directions towards the Catania Ring Road / Misterbianco / Paternò; then continue towards the Paternò–Adrano–Bronte area, usually via SS121 / SS284. This is the most direct route and typically takes about 45–50 minutes by car. Catania airport offers on-site car rental services.
From Palermo Falcone Borsellino Airport to Bronte
From the airport take the A29 towards Palermo, then join the A19 Palermo–Catania towards Catania and then head inland to reach Bronte (typically via SS121 and connections towards Adrano/Bronte). The journey is significantly longer: expect around 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on traffic. At Palermo airport, car rentals are located in the Arrivals Hall and the car pick-up area is in front of the arrivals.
In short:
if you land in Catania, Bronte is much closer and more convenient; from Palermo the trip is doable, but considerably longer.
